Notes, made ca 1850, on the history of the New York State Militia. The notes are in a folio notebook with a printed heading on each page reading "Enrolment of -- Co., -- Regt. 1st Division N.Y.S.M., 1850," and on numerous loose sheets of paper laid into the notebook. The notes include a list of officers who took the oath before the Clerk of the City and County of New York, 1812-1815; a list of officers in the militia, 1792-1848; miscellaneous notes on the militia of the City and County of New York, with some notes on other regiments,
